Tis Spring in Australia and whereever you are in the world you are probably in a state of transition from one season to the next. A season which teases one way and then swings the other. I love that it teases us into starting to put meaning onto the weather patterns... "Summer's here", "Winter is going to be so mild"! But alas we are mortlas and our meanings mean nothing to Mother Nature, for she qill swiftly remind us of our foolishness with a pelting rainstorm out of nowhere and three children to move from a supermarket to a car. I love that we have to give into Mother Nature... and she is perefctly perfect. She knows what to do and as do we, if we trust ourselves.
After a week of mulling on what perfection is... and why as people we strive for it... I came to truly take on board that this is all adventure. Not a pursuit for perfection. This realisation came after I recently shot a video and interview for TorrentThis and that familiar uncomfortable feeling after recording came up... always does when a piece of me goes out there to the big bad world.
After a few days of uncomfortable, I had to build a bridge and get over it, which either means two things in my world... a new song or a new motto to live by. For me it became the latter... You can check my motto out here....
